Muskoka + Kevin’s Engagement on the Wenonah

Muskoka + Kevin wanted something intimate, meaningful and authentic to their story for their engagement party. So naturally, they gathered about 20 of their closest family + friends for an afternoon cruise aboard the Wenonah II, one of Gravenhurst’s two iconic steamships that occupy the wharf all summer long. With Muskoka having grown up spending summers at a family cottage on Lake Muskoka, it couldn’t have been a more perfect reflection of them.

I arrived at the dock just before we were set to board the ship. It had been raining + thunderstorming all day but thankfully, the clouds parted just in time for us to sail. We made our way up to the top deck for some beautiful photos of the two of them as they celebrated this exciting season of life together.

Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Lake Muskoka, their closest people and that classic Muskoka feel, this engagement party was truly one-of-a-kind.
